Lake - Lake in the Zoo of HCM city, Viet nam - In Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden has lakes with lotus and many kinds of fish, in the middle of lake is a small island of monkeys and apes.

Garden - Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden has a diversity of fauna and flora. There are 590 animals of 125 species, 1830 trees and plants of 260 valuable species, some of which are over 100 years old. In the botanical garden, rare and valuable plants of many species are grown. Some of them cannot be found in Vietnam. Some species of cactus, fern and plants are imported from Africa and America.

Elephant statue - The Elephant statue, in the Zoo of HCMC (Vietnam), was given by the Supreme King of Siam, SOMDECH PHRA PARAMINDR MAHA PRAJADHIPOK, as souvenir of his majesty's first visit to Indo-china, landed at Saigon on the 14th April 1930

Old trees - Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden is one of the oldest zoos in the world (ranked 8th). It's located on 2B Nguyen Binh Khiem Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. It is the home for many rare orchids, ornamental plants, and over a hundred species of mammals, reptiles and birds.

Statue - Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden was built on March 23 1864 and is one of the oldest zoos in the world (ranked 8th). Mr.Louis Pierre, who had worked in the botanical garden in Calcutta (India), was the first director on March 28 1865. On the stele of his statue write: 'A la mémoire de J.B.Louis PIERRE , botaniste Français né à St Andre (Ile de la reunion) le 23 Octobre 1833, mort à Paris le 30 Octobre 1905, Premier Directeur et organisateur du jardin botanique de Saigon (1865-1877)'

Sea baskets and ships - Phan Thiet is situated 198 km east of Ho Chi Minh City. It is a small and sleepy seaside town that has a certain quaint and colorful fishing village charm. From Tran Hung Dao bridge can see lots of ships and sea baskets (cái thúng) at Phan Thiet port on Ca Ty river.
