 Poznanski Mausoleum - Considered to be the largest Jewish tomb in the world, it belongs to Izrael Kalmanowicz Poznański (1833-1900), the greatest Jewish industrialist of Łódź and his family. Izrael Poznański was owner of a textile factory located in Łódź (containing a worker's estate, a hospital, a school and shops). The mausoleum was build between 1903-1905 and was meant to resemble a grave of a medieval knight, probably according to the project of A. Zeligson. It is made of grey granite and marble with Doric columns. The impressive mosaic in the dome, made by Andrea salvati's Venetian workshop, presents palms by the water and inscriptions in Hebrew. The mausoleum is surrounded by a granite fence.

 Symbolic tomb - Cemetery in Warta in the region of Sieradz, Poland. Symbolic tomb and table with his name. Major pilot Stanislaw Skarzynski was born in 1899 in Warta. In 1933, as the first polish man, he flew over the Atlantic Ocean alone, from Senegal to Brasil on the smallest (ever!) airplane RWD 5bis. This airplane was build by polish constructors. In 1936, for this great aviation achievement, Skarzynski was awarded by FAI (Federation Aeronautique Internationale) with Louis Bleriot Medal. Skarzynski died in 1942 when he was coming back to England after the heavy bomb attack on Bremen (Germany) on June the 26, 1942.
