St Joseph church - Our Lady & St Joseph's Catholic Church, Warwick Square, Carlisle, Cumbria, England, UK

St Aidan Church - St Aidan's Church, Warwick road, Carlisle - The church of St Aidan, Warwick Road, was designed by C.J. Ferguson, 1899-1902. Large, with low aisles and clerestory. Double bellcote. No chancel arch.There are several stained glass windows, by A.K Nicholson.

St Michael church - St Michael's Church, Stanwix - The Church at Stanwix, just north of the River Eden, dedicated to St. Michael, is cruciform in shape, and in the Early English style of architecture, designed by J Hodgson. It was erected in 1841, and consists of nave, aisles, transepts, and fine tower, surmounted by pinnacles.

Railway station - Citadel Railway station Carlisle - Citadel station was designed in 1847 in a Gothic style by Sir William Tite, the leading station designer of his age and the architect of London's Royal Exchange. It is now the northern terminus of the famous 72-mile Settle to Carlisle railway. At one time no less than seven railway companies had lines terminating in Carlisle and by 1880 they were all using the Citadel station.

James Steel - Statue of James Steel, English Street James Steel became the owner and editor of the Carlisle Journal. He was also Mayor of Carlisle twice.

Queen Victoria - Statue of the Queen Victoria in Victoria Park With Orb in one hand and Scepter in the other, it is a classic Queen Victoria pose captured by Thomas Brock RA. According to the Council for British Archaeology the statue was erected on the 7 May 1902. This was just over one year since the Monarch died.

William Lowther - Statue of William Lowther in front of the Eastern Tower William Lowther, 1st Earl of Lonsdale KG (29 December 1757 - 19 March 1844) was a British Tory politician and nobleman.
