Nasterea Domnului - Catedrala Naşterea Domnului din Chişinău a fost ridicată în 1836 după proiectul arhitectului Avraam Melnikov. Este construită din piatră şi cărămidă, cu trei altare: unul principal (cu hramul Naşterea Domnului) şi două laterale (cel din dreapta cu hramul Sfântul Mucenic Nichita şi cel din stanga cu hramul Sfântul Ioan cel Nou, care apoi au fost inlocuite cu hramul Sfântul Alexandru Nevski şi Sfântul Nicolae Făcătorul de Minuni).
