Facade - Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Reims, lieu du sacre des rois de France (Charles X le 29 mai 1825), qui remplace une première cathédrale du Ve siècle édifiée par l'évêque saint Nicaise et qui accueillit le baptême de Clovis (496) consacré par l'archevêque saint Remi. En 816, le fils de Charlemagne, Louis Ier le Pieux choisit Reims pour y être sacré empereur. Le prestige de la sainte Ampoule et la puissance politique des archevêques de Reims aboutirent à partir d'Henri Ier (1027) à fixer définitivement le lieu du sacre à Reims.
